With several key players nursing injuries for St. Thomas in a big Broward County matchup against Miramar, Raiders running back James White stepped up and played a key role in leading his team to a 31-6 victory. White rushed for 95 yards and scored a touchdown out of the Wildcat formation in the win.
Erik Lengyel names his Player of the Week for Week 7.

Week 6 was very likely the most dramatic finish that the Broward Game of the Week has seen to date. South Broward's Kevin Grooms saved his biggest play for when it counted the most. With his team down by 5 and less than a minute left in the game, Grooms came away with a 71 yard punt return to give the Bulldogs a crucial win. Grooms added 127 rushing yards and another touchdown to make himself an easy choice for Player of the Week.

There were plenty of candidates to choose from for Player of the Week honors in week 5. The Dillard defense kept the Panthers in the game through the first 3 quarters. Jazz Moss sparked the offense with a crucial kick off return. In the end, honors went to Panthers running back Otis Wright, who led the Panthers to a win with a big 4th quarter breakaway touchdown run.
Erik Lengyel names his Player of the Week for Week 5.
